I am in need of a mid-range zoom lens for my APSC A6400 and A6500 cameras. I like the image quality of the Tamron 28-75mm but, I'd like something a bit wider on the short end. Does anyone have any experience with the Sony 16-70mm ƒ/4 Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* ZA OSS vs Sony 18-105mm f/4 OSS as far as: 1. Image Quality and 2. Auto focus capability
Obviously the Sony 18-105mm has a wider focal range but, I can live with the 16-70mm if the image quality is top notch and the AF is right in there with other Sony lenses...
