Hi everyone, just wanted to share a few images from our latest lens test. We shot with the Holga 25mm f/8 plastic meniscus (plastic fantastic) lens on a Sony A5000 and a Sony A7. It doesn't cover the full frame sensor and it barely covers an APS-C sensor, but it is a super fun little lens at $15. It certainly isn't for everyone but we really enjoyed this toy lens. We hope you enjoy the images and the full review is here http://ilovehatephoto.com/2015/04/21/the-holga-25mm-f8-plastic-fantastic-lens-review/

But how does it stack up against the 35mm F1.4 Distagon?!? Where are the 100% crop comparisons?

We're guessing the Holga will have slightly more vignetting wide open at f/8 ;)

I used Holgas when I couldn't afford a real medium format 120 camera. I didn't get anything back then that made me want to get that same look from my expensive digital camera. Add a light leak filter that gives you a fogged film look and this seems to match up with my experience. Glad someone likes this, just wish I had thought to stick $.25 worth of plastic together and charge people $15!
