Ambush bugs are soo cool!
Damsel in distress!
Wow, great detail
Agreed. Great color and detail.
Great stuff once again.
Awesome shots. Love the BeeIF.
Awesome! I love macro!!!
Excellent macro shots and fine sharp details. Yes the ambush is extremely well taken. Beautiful to see with all shots, but that one is really neat to see. We don't have them here.
All the best and nice work.
Nicely done. Curious as to what lens you used on the spider?
The framing of the ambush bug and the nice solid background are very nice!
Thanks! Pretty sure that one was taken with the Cosina 100mm f3.5 macro.
I like your pictures
I wonder what apertures did you use.
Would using a smaller aperture capture more detail and made it sharper and would I need a tripod if I use a smaller aperture?
I love macro pictures but I find that the blurring effect of the nearby objects are really distracting.

I use a variety of apertures, but I generally keep it below f16 as I have noticed diffraction effects at that point with my lenses. f8-f11 are probably my most common settings when shooting macro. I don't use a tripod, I use flash unless there is really good natural light available. In macro the only way to really get a super sharp, super deep DOF is to do focus stacking.
Agree with everybody else - stunning work once again
