I've definitely noticed that people are more comfortable around the nex, especially with a small lens on it. Which, in turn, has helped me get more comfortable taking pictures of people. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few here taken with various 35 and 50mm primes.

With the trusty SAM 35mm DT (and LA-EA1):

    Portrait-2.
(I used the little Nex 7 flash here- bouncing it on the ceiling of the tent)

With the SAM 50mm 1.8 DT, (also LA-EA1):

    Portrait-6.

    Portrait.

    With the Voigtländer 35 1.4:

    Portrait-4.
    (Self-portrait)

    Portrait-5.

With the Minolta MC Rokkor PG 50mm 1.4:

    Portrait-3.

And with the Rokinon 85mm 1.4:

    Portrait-7.

Some great shots there, astaireathon. But for me, that big watermark just kind of spoils them. I understand why you feel you have to do that. But... sigh.

Perhaps it's unnecessary...nothing is watermarked on the blog. I go back and forth on it.

I would like to say I like them, but I just hate watermarks too much, and this is one of the worst watermarks I've seen lately..

Nice work - thanks for sharing! I agree that the watermark is way too big and too far from the edges. (I usually don't object to a watermark if it is more unobtrusive.)
