Claude was kind enough to suggest I post some pictures so here goes. I see I need to have at least ten posts in order to set up an album so I'll link from a hosting site for now.

This is a picnic shelter at Sugarloaf Reservoir not far from Melbourne. It was my first try out with the A7 and some of the Rokkors I have been collecting.
    CAMERA: Sony A7
LENS: Minolta MC Rokkor 35-70mm, 1:3.5
    SETTINGS: ISO 100 | 1/1600sec

This little fellow is an Australian Wood Duck at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. I was testing my steadiness with hand holding this 135mm with a moving subject.
    CAMERA: Sony A7
    LENS: Minolta MC Rokkor-PF f=135mm, 1:2.8
    SETTINGS: ISO 200 | 1/2500sec

This is also from the Royal Botanic Gardens and I was testing the 'macro' setting of this lens.
    CAMERA: Sony A7
LENS: Minolta MC Rokkor 35-70mm, 1:3.5
    SETTINGS: ISO 200 | 1/100sec, Macro setting 1: 4

Two of the Fremantle Fishing Boat Fleet in Western Australia
    CAMERA: Sony NEX-6
LENS: Minolta MC Rokkor (PG) 50mm, 1:1.4
    SETTINGS: ISO 100 | 1/3200sec

    I also have a Rokkor 24-35mm 3.5 zoom.

Thanks for looking. I hope these are in the right place. If not my apologies and I will try to move them as required.

Well, I'd say you're off to a great start here, Snowy. I, for one, am eager to see everything people are shooting with the A7, having just acquired on myself. And, as to your comment about being an "enthusiastic amateur" in the other thread, I think it's safe to say that describes almost all of us here. ;)

Good start, hope to see more from you!

I do that all the time, it just doesn't make sense to me to upload pictures to a number of sites instead of to one hosting site and linking to them. Although I must say these days I'm almost exclusively here.
