I only use Canon FD lenses on the NEX-7 because I had a good size inventory of them from film days which I kept stored properly all these years, and the NEX-7 does an outstanding job with them.
I recently picked up a like new Canon FD 70-150/4.5…slow by some standards but it only cost a few burgers & fries and when used in strong light, the 4.5 is no handicap…added my usual Hoya multi-coated Skylight filter…and took it for a test walk at a local North Carolina Arboretum.
Mostly handheld / sometimes monopod, worked perfectly for my interests, color rendition was excellent, etc.
