Just playing with my Tamron 90mm
Love the in-flight shots.
Wow, first 2 are really unbelievable
...and now I need a macro lens
My very same thought!
Thanks! And good grief my sensor is dirty!
We were going to mention that, but since you froze bee wings in flight you got a pass. lol!
Bwah! Looks like some cleaning is in order.
Wow. Need to get myself a macro lens!
Yeah, it's got a big bug on it.
All great shots but the 2 in flight shots are awesome. Can you tell us your settings?
Manual Focus, Handheld, Focus Peaking MAX
Aperture: ~1.0 (still not sure how that works with the converter I bought)
Sent from my iPhone using TalkNEX mobile app
That's what the EXIF says, but I'm not convinced.
Ok, your tamron is either a f/2.5 or 2.8, depending on if it's AF or MF. With a standard lens adapter (no contacts) the camera will say f/1.0 because that's the default value when it doesn't know.
So, assuming you shot wide open it was either f/2.5 or 2.8.
That's what I figured but wasn't sure. Thanks! I'm new to the world of adapters.
Taken with 50 prime lense
Not quite Macro, but still pretty good.
It is my first post. A little nervous lol
No need to be nervous. I haven't been on this forum very long, but you will find it is a great deal more civil than most - if not all - Internet forums.
