A few pic's from my latest trip to Maroon Bells/Snowmass Wilderness, Colorado
Stunning stuff. Was that goat as big as he looks?
Neat places up there!
Nice work - Love the last one with the mountain reflection on the water!!!
Up close that goat appeared extremely powerful, we were at about 12,500 feet and he was coming toward us on the trail, at the point I took that photo he just stood and stared at us. He looked like he wanted the trail, I had nowhere to go so we just stared at each other for awhile. I was concerned he would just plow through us, then all of the sudden he ran down the side of the hill a bit, then around us, then came back up on the trail behind us and went along on his merry way.
Beautiful series. These small cameras sure make hiking a lot easier, so much lighter and compact.
Cool moment. This time of year animals are a bit more aggresive, so be glad you were not seen as a threat.
I agree. I can't see myself hauling around a DSLR on a hike, but the NEX travels well.
Splendid place and shots, nice reflection shot...
Love #3 but man, looks like it was a rockin' trip overall!
Was a rockin' trip. Did the same route last year, but I was just coming back from a badly injured ankle from a climbing fall and the route just kicked my butt. This year I was in better shape, and enjoyed the trip so much more. Although even with my butt being kicked by the mountain, I don't think you can have a bad day is such a beautiful place.
