    I've got this beautiful lens for just about 30 euros (maybe the deal of my life) and I really love it!

    Anyone who's got this lens and would like to share some thoughts?

    Yeah! I didn't really understand it until I had it in my hand and started to use it. And the best part, it's in such a good condition... The glasses is A++. The focusring is so smooth, but still stiff enough..

    I will post some examples later!

    Well that lens is rare and expensive. 6 available from Ebay this moment, cheapest 562 USD. Besides being ultra fast it is supposedly optically very good (in many cases ultra fast lenses weren't as good as slightly slower ones). I have Pentax SMC 55mm/1.8 that I prefer over 50mm/1.7.

    Yes, please post samples.

    For 30 euros I'd expect a 1:2 lens, not a 1:1.2 lens. Somebody didn't know what they were selling. ;)

    I need to brag a little about this... And I don't even think that I have understand it yet.

    So, I use it with my NEX-6 and I just love. these. manual. lenses!!! Yes, you may miss focus by an inch, but it's wonderful to work with and gives (according too me) much more feeling. I think you guys now what I'm talking about :D

    Here's two pictures, natural lights (window) and at 1.2;

    Image quality is impressive. I have no personal experience but there is some talk around that many ultra fast lenses were soft at maximum aperture (that is, you got the picture but softish one). but Pentax ultra fast one was sharp and contrasty wide open.

    CANON EF 50/1.2 L USM sells for 2000 euros in Helsinki. I don't know its image quality but for 1970 euros I am willing to manual focus.
