I posted this in PentaxForums NEX picture thread. Please excuse if you have seen this.
Thanks for sharing this.
It's a real shame that there won't be any serious market for M42->AR adapters that the cheap eBay HK manufacturers can latch onto because it's probably incredibly trivial to machine. I'd love to get an M42->AR adapter if I can find a better price
Some test shots with the SuperTak 35mm f/3.5 using the above setup this morning. With the M42 to Konica AR, I find the combo much more enjoyable in manual focusing.
All are shot wide open with the SuperTak 35mm in f/3.5 with 5N
Fantastic shots. Did you do a lot of level tweaking in post processing? They've got a great look to them. If I could find this adapter for a better price I'd invest in a Tak 35 as well
As I type this, a new M42 to AR adapter popped up for $25+10 BIN on the 'Bay. Seriously giving it some thought
Apology to everyone that I post in the wrong forum. It is meant for Adapted Lenses forum and I hope the moderator can help if this thread is more relevant for the Adapted Lenses.
Marty, I am a beginner in post processing. I use an old version of Lightroom and in the series, I adjust brightness and tone curve on lowering highlight. I am surprised that the supertak does pretty good in wide open shots. I shoot in jpg and AWB in 5N is odd indoor and hence I like to shoot in b&w in the series.
