Now I have a Fotodiox pro and a Metabones IV T adapters. Sigma 35mm f/1.4 with Metabones IV on A7Rii is flawless. However the Canon 100mm f/2 on A7Rii has big problems: back-focus with metalbones and hunting with Fotodiox. Well fortunately the same 100/2.0 lens works flawlessly on A7ii with Fotodiox. The A7ii with FW2.0 is really so good with Canon lenses. Next time I will use the 100/2.0 lens on A7ii to do some portrait works.

Sigma 35/1.4 on A7Rii with metabones:

Canon 100/2.0 on A7ii with Fotodiox: Just test shots, bear with me. Will post portraits later.

Canon EF mount. Both Metalbones and Fotodiox adapters are EF to E mount.

    Thanks for the post Metalmania!
I have been researching Canon EF lenses lately for my A7ii...and the 100 f/2 is on my short list along with the 70-200 f/4L USM (non-IS). Do you get autofocus with the fotodiox pro adapter and the 100 f/2? When you get the chance I would very like much to see some portraits from that lens.

The reason why I am asking is that their website indicates manual focus only for that lens...but I wonder if their list of compatible lenses hasn't been updated since FW 2.0 came out.

I have used both 100/2.0 and 70-200 f/4L on a7ii with Fotodiox adapter. The AF is just amazing. I will definitely have some portraits later.

I'm really interested in getting a 100mm f/2 for a Sony A7II, is the AF fairly quick? Any problems?
