Well, I loved this lens so much. At one point I sold it, later I bought another back from Sigma outlet. It's perfect on an A7. Ironically the new lens (refurbished, 90 days warranty) died after 5 months without frequent use. The symptom is the camera will not recognize the lens, showing "F--" on the LCD, MF only, but no way to MF on this ART lens. So funny and frustrating at the same time! I tried it on other camera bodies, they all had the same problem.

$170 wasted. But I still love my Sigma 35 ART, Sigma 50 ART and Sigma 85 adapted on my A7 series. I just hope they don't die at all.

Strange. Did you try to clean up the connectors ?

Since it's out of warranty anyway, try opening it up at the mount to see if there's a cold solder joint at the contacts, or a loose ribbon cable.

. Thanks guys! I tried cleaning the contacts and made sure nothing is loose. Still not working. I gave up.
