So I'm thinking of getting this lens, it's pretty well known that I really didn't like wide angle lenses....until today when I was shooting a wedding.

It's available in an a mount and I already have the laea1

I am going to return the sel18200 that I bought last week. It's not really sharp enough or fast enough for me.

Any thoughts on this or should I go for the ziess 12 or 32 instead?

The new zeiss 16/80 f4 is too slow for me and the sigma is way faster and so far has great reviews, manual focus at those lengths doesn't bother me, should I wait for something else?

For 799 usd manual focus, or auto if I want to get the laea2 is it worth it?

Maybe I should sell the sel 35 to fund it?

    Don't know.

    Any thoughts? Experience?

I saw in SAR that Sony version is delayed. Also it is a very big/heavy lens for nex: approx. 3.07 x 4.76" (78 x 121 mm) & Weight 1.78 lb (811 g). With the new dslrs/nex coming, Sony is eliminating mirrors so the nex cameras might focus more like the new Olympus OMD EM-1. So I wouldn't buy a laea2 now.
