I just put one on my A6500 at a camera store and was surprised how light it really was. I have kind of shied away from the lens because I thought that it was too heavy for my APSC cameras...

It’s a very capable and lovely alternative when I want a lighter, quicker, easier-to-share-shooting-duties option than my A7Rii with the manual Minolta Rokkor-W 24mm f2.8, which is my usual landscape kit of choice.

My kiddos and lovely spouse gave me a Peak Design Capture Clip for Father’s Day, and I’ve been hiking and biking with it parked on my hydration pack strap. The Sigma 16 is a little longer and bulkier than the Sony 50 (which is what I usually have parked on the a6000 for outdoor activities duty), but not at all unreasonable. It rained on and off this weekend while we were outside, and the whole rig got wet several times, with no issues. I think this focal length on the a6000 series is really perfect for me for active outdoor use. Easy to capture the scene and the activity:

The weather this weekend did make it clear to me that a weather cover for the camera is an essential next acquisition for using the capture clip outside in Vermont....
