As most of you know, I spend a lot of time in Asia. I work in China and due to the virus, I have not been back "home." My SSD is full, and I have a limited amount of everything. However, I'm used to backpacking, so it's not too much of an issue, except HD space.
So, I've been in Siem Reap for a month and a half. I've seen this place go from party city to just a ghost town with a few ex-pats. The cost of living here is cheap and there are a lot of western and western-themed restaurants not to miss home. Even more, there is a lot of beauty in the temples, people, and nature.
The small villages and their friendly people is also something to experience.

Beautiful collection of pictures. Must be quite an experience to have so few people around: like a different century.

Yeah, it makes it a little easier to photograph monuments and architecture, but it does make the atmosphere less lively.

Very picturesque area. It was part of my bucket list (which may never be actualized) along with a tour of Myanmar's Irrawaddy River area... Actually, I would probably have favored the Irrawaddy River because of less tourists but, tourist pressure is not a factor right now!

Not the camera settings. It was a British-schoolboy-humour allusion to the young woman in pic 6.

I'll try to do better next time!

Very nice, and very interesting. Revisited previous series too.

Asking google, it seems there is a small amount of coronavirus in Cambodia. It doesn't sound as if you are under any restrictions or feel at risk. Compares well with here, where we are under "lockdown." I have not even been outside our gate for over a month.
