I want to be able to run at a full jog and keep my NEX-5n from flopping around. Would like to avoid wearing a full backpack since I'm just bringing one tiny camera. Any athletes out have suggestions of a low-profile strap or bag that will keep the camera restricted against my body?

Not sure if it would fit, but something like this?....

    221666_1_1?resmode=4&op_usm=1,1,1,&qlt=95,1&hei=280&wid=280&align=0,1.

    Or...

    228601_4_1?resmode=4&op_usm=1,1,1,&qlt=95,1&hei=280&wid=280&align=0,1.

    Maybe...

    228602_1_1?resmode=4&op_usm=1,1,1,&qlt=95,1&hei=280&wid=280&align=0,1.

Cool, those look promising. Got a link? I can't read the brand from the pics.

I actually use two different water bag set ups for trips longer than a couple of hours and they work great!

    Short trips:

    IMAG0034.

    IMAG0035.

    Long trips:

    IMAG0037.

    IMAG0040.

    Notes:

1- Works great with all of my lenses except for the 16mm. The lens itself is what keeps it in place. The 16mm is just too short.

2- Takes some getting used to, be careful cause the screen is right by your arm.

I can envision only one reason to run, and that involves imminent cessation of my life force. For all other things the world will wait until I get there.

Good thing there are others here who actually think this "run" thing is fun and can help you out. :2thumbs:

Use it more for hikes, or long day trips.

Glad I found this thread, I've been scheming about running with my NEX for months.

OP, have you tried any of the mentioned lumbar packs? I'm curious to see if they work.

I am likely going to make a custom one in the next few days; will post shots if I do.

I know I don't run in mine, more of a hike, but I am sure it would hold decently.
