Should I keep the 16-50 PZ or get the Sony VCL-ECU1 adapter for my 20mm?

I currently shoot with the 18-105, 20 & 16-50 with my NEX-6 bodies. Ever since I purchased the 18-105, the 16-50 hasn't been used much and the 20mm comes out when I need to go compact. I'm thinking of selling the 16-50 and getting the Sony VCL-ECU1 adapter for those oft times I need something slightly wider. What do you guys/gals think? Should I trade up or just keep all three? Thanks for any opinions!

I seem to be one of those misguided individuals with nothing bad to say about the 16-50. I'd say keep it.

I actually like the 16-50 quite a bit! Yeah, I might just keep it around.

Spend a day or two using nothing but the 16-50. Then decide. It's my first choice when I'm traveling light and don't want much bulk.

LOVE the 16-50. Most maligned lens ever. I only wish the design had a larger front to use 49mm filters/hoods.

If you're OK with what the 1650 delivers and don't need the money I'd keep it. I'm on my 5th 1855 in 5 years and even though I don't use it that much (I mainly shoot primes) it's there when I need it. How do you like your 20mm? I just received my 3rd copy last week, this one is decently centered and even though it's not exactly the greatest lens I've owned so far I love the 30mm FOV and the compact size so much that I'll keep it. It's definitely good enough for a lot of stuff, even at f2.8.

That's a good point. I never liked the AF on the 18-55 until the A6000 was released. The 16-50 was so much faster to AF on the NEX-6. I have both, and the handling of the 18-55 is better, takes my 49mm filters, and a good lens hood. On the A6000 it focuses more quickly and is a great choice. I just got a 20mm, haven't done as much with it yet, but wanted to get the fisheye converter, and chose the 20 over the 16 for that same 30mm FOV.

The 20mm is decent. I think the Sigma 19mm is a sharper lens, but the 20mm is smaller and focuses faster on my NEX-6.

Anyways I've decided to keep the 16-50mm PZ and sell the 18-105mm PZ. The 18-105mm while optically excellent, it's just way too big! Weight isn't an issue, but I wish the lens was a non-PZ to perhaps reduce size.

Same story here on the NEX-7. The more I shoot with my new copy the more I like it but I didn't want to hijack this thread and posted a sample shot in the 20mm thread next door. I'd really like to see some more images from different copies of the 20mm.
