Today, for the second year in a row, I took my youngest to get new point shoes for her ballet class. We drove about a half-hour away to a tiny shop in New Holland, PA. It reminds me in a small way of the wand shop in Harry Potter with boxes of ballet shoes from floor to ceiling. I carried along my NEX-7 and 8mm Rokinon Fisheye and managed a few shots between my daughter's protests. {} {} {} {} The "can you stop with the camera" look. {} Finally found a pair that fit. {}
Love the The "can you stop with the camera" look image! That clown in the background looking at you with a similar face! LOL! Great series! The fisheye is in its element.
You must hate your money, lol. A camera hobby AND a daughter in ballet At one point, I had 2 in ballet, one taking horse back riding lessons, and both in paid music lessons (one taking violin). I asked which, exactly, of these will help with college scholarships? I'm missing the point, I was told. Any rate, top notch shots and a lovely young lady. Enjoy the time while she's still at home!
Don't forget the 2 in college. They are determined to bankrupt me and keep me shooting my NEX-7 a little while longer. Thanks for the comments!
I think we should have a new thread with the exasperated "others" and their expressions...... I have a few of my daughter's!
#2 a great expression from your fisheye lens. Your choice of black and white and gaining distortion of the many lines and rows of boxes draws me in.
