.....that's my house.
Yikes! Get out of there.
I'm in Ohio for the baseball season.
My guess is, next time you go visit your house it'll be found about where the black line leaves Florida.
Be safe man
Be safe Ted....and get all the camera gear out of harms way.
Thanks Mus, but I'll be watching it on TV, as I'm in Ohio until the end of the World Series. My FLA neighbors can use the prayers.
Hope all will be well and without too much damage
...praying for your place and your neighbors.
We live in Delray Beach! We stayed and are very well prepared. We are blessed that Irma turned West but pray for the residents anther West coast and Keys of Florida. They are in for a rough ride.
I'm in Viera, a suburb of Melbourne (where the 8AM Monday "M" is), looks like we dodged the worst of it.
It appears that the odds are with me that I'll still have a roof when I go back in November.
Yes, I think we are blessed. Our fellow Floridians on the West Coast are not as fortunate.
I think that is true, thankfully! The winds have steadily increased all day and the worst is yet to come.
Made it through the night. Lost power around 2 AM for a few minutes. The Florida Power site shows that 133,000+ in Palm Beach county lost power but almost 24,000 had it restored.
The reports in Key West and Miami are not good. Lots of flooding in both areas.
I walked outside a few minutes ago to see what damage, if any, our street has. Thankfully, only a few palm frawns are down. We anticipate the worst/heaviest ran and wind around 1600.
