I had a quick business trip to Phoenix, AZ on Monday and Tuesday. I decided to go out from Houston early on Saturday and planned on going to the Grand Canyon on Sunday. On the way up to the hotel in Williams, AZ I took a small detour through Sedona, AZ. What a place! An explosion of texture and color. Here are a few of my favorites.

One of my best friends just moved to Sedona about 4 months ago from L.A. The scenery never gets old for me I love his photo work of the area. I was going to head out this fall but due to his work schedule I wont be able to make it. Definitely going to head out next year though.

I really like Sedona, but it has become way to touristy for me.

Nice shots anyway. The first one is great.

Thanks for looking and commenting everyone. It was a quick trip and I definitely want to go back when I have more time.
