Shooting a series JPEG fine in intelligent auto (family snaps)

I have quite a few images that are duplicates, both show recorded the same time and the same zoom setting (for example 28mm)
The 1st is a normal shot... the 2nd is an extreme closeup as if it was cropped ... in a few instances the "cropped" image is rotated also..
    (landscape to portrait)

I have been through the settings and the manual and cannot account for what caused this... looking to the experts... :)

There is a setting called 'Auto Obj Framing' or words to that effect. It tries to analyse the shot and crop it how it sees best - essentially never works and I have it turned off on my A6000.

Perfect! That was it... Turned it off... It framed a couple ok but most not so much.. I can do that myself in post!
Appreciate the quick and helpful response!

Yup, it's made as a help/suggestion. I as well turn it off.
