Took a trip to the San Francisco zoo to surprise my son. We went on Memorial Day weekend. Here are a couple of my faves that I took that day. I only had my 135mm lens so I didn't get as tight as I wanted so I worked with what I had. The 135mm was attached to my Sony A7ii. {} Kal by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Giraffe Tongue by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Waldrapp Ibis by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Gorillas by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Gorilla by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Pied Tamarin Monkey by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} North American River Otter by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Snow Leopard by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr
Thanks! I seriously wanted to get tighter on the shots but I guess I did alright with the 135mm focal length. I need to invest in something longer.
Great shots! Sony definitely has it's own look because the shots look similar to my NEX-6 output, but with better tonal range and detail due to the FF sensor.
I wanted to add this set of a Waldrapp Ibis flying after me while taking its photo. I thought it was pretty hilarious. It flew just a few inches above my head. {} Waldrapp Ibis by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Looking at me by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr {} Got me by Yves Gajardo, on Flickr
