I bought it in February and it's hard to take off of my camera. IMATEST shows that it's sharper wide open across the frame than stopped down to f/2.8 . . . but it's incredibly sharp wide open.

Even the tiniest little spiderwebs are sharp:

I like the Canon when I had it. Samyang looks sharper (comparable to Zeiss 135mm apo) vs Canon is a little smaller & lighter and has af with the Canon ef electronic adapters... You can check these reviews:
    Samyang 135 mm f/2.0 ED UMC review - Summary - LensTip.com
    Zeiss APO Sonnar 135mm f/2 (ZF.2) Review | Viktor's photo blog

Here are some of my old shots, mostly with Canon 135mm L with a few Sigma 50mm 1.4 shots:

I'm a novice and can't compare it to anything else but I'm happy with the Samyang. I bought it because the reviews were consistent and the price was the same as a 15-20yr old CY Zeiss 135/2.8. Surprisingly, it works well for me at T-ball where I can predicatively focus. In fact, I think the manual focus is an advantage sometimes because the camera isn't deciding what the subject is. There's a lot of stuff moving out there.. :) It's obviously a great portrait lens.

Excellent ball game captures! 135mm is a favorite focal length of mine for APS-C. And this lens looks to have great flat-field focus on the A7.

Thanks guys! This forum helped make up my mind to buy the A7 and several of my lenses - hopefully I can give a little back.

For anyone considering it, I think it's amazing for the money and can't imagine anyone not being happy w/ it.
