Some incredible shots in this thread! I got mine a few months ago, here are some of my snap! Overall, a beautiful lens, great bokeh for an ultrawide, excellent sharpness. Only fault is some fringing at f2, but even that ain't so bad. Highly recommend this lens to anyone even remotely considering it.

Lovely, lighting, colors and the reflection. I really like reflections and there is good detail in these reflections.

After looking at my UWA zoom options, I don't like my choices, so now I'm looking at the Rokinon. The samples here seem pretty terrific. Also, looking at my use of my last UWA zoom, 80% of the time it was on the widest focal length anyway. Maybe I should just get an old NEX and marry it to this lens!

I've read the sharpness and distortion is well under control, and CA is reasonable. How is vignetting with this lens, and also, is there any kind of Lightroom 5 profile you can get for this lens (to handle the minimal distortion and the CA)?

Wide open it vignettes significantly and I have used the Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 lens profile in Lightroom, also for the picture above, and pretty happy with the results (Adobe does not provide a profile for the Rokinon 12mm).

Here are two pictures to illustrate the vignetting @f2, the second picture is after applying the Touit lens profile (not a perfect test as the light is not completely even, taken up in the air).

Yes they are the same and yes they are both manual focus.

I don't own either, but I've had other Rokinons and my experience with those lenses (like the 85 and 8mm fisheye) is that the focus rings are stiff, but they have long throws.

Yes. The focus ring is quite stiff.

A few of my first shots with my new Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS for E-mount. Still trying to decide if it is as sharp as advertised (or if my copy is soft), but that might be more down to my inexperience with such a wide focal length combined with manual focus (and perhaps me being overly critical). It does however seem harder to nail focus than I expected.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Flickr seems to have stopped showing lens name and setting information for most photos? I thought it might be something with just my recent uploads, but I went back and noticed that a lot of older photos that I know included the info before no longer display the lens and camera setting info as before.
