I love me a big, fast, heavy SLR lens as much as anyone but it seems the NEX cameras and old RF lenses are a match made in heaven. What are you favorites? I'll start with the one that's stolen my heart, the Canon LTM-mount 35mm f/2, first produced in 1962. At f/8 it's probably the sharpest lens I've ever owned, from corner to corner, and yet can produce a nice soft background wide open, especially with a helicoid adapter.

    And it's tiny!
    CanonRF35-f2. CanonRF35-f2A.

Here are some example, from afar and up close, the first at f/8 and the second at f/2:

Very nice, and relatively fast for a rangefinder lens of that era. I lean towards Voigtlander LTM lenses myself. :)

I like them too (will post some pics later from the 15mm f/4) but they're either larger or slower than my Canon. And though sharp, not as sharp--at least the 15mm isn't.
