Randoms, Dancing and Flying Bird and Deer. 28-70mm and A6000

    No idea what this bird is, but it was doing a crazy dance.

    That first bird is pretty...don't know what it is either.
    Nice flare shot of that Dove.
    The deer...well, LOL

    The first bird is a Killdeer. They lay their eggs in depressions in the rocks, and go to great lengths to scare or warn off threats, including limping and faking a broken wing as they move away from the nest. You must have been pretty close if she held her ground and did the dance. The nests can be hard to spot.

    EDIT: see the 4 eggs in the depression right behind her? Next to the larger rocks.
