And there was me thinking nearby big hill. Or ladder. Or... stilts. Or something.

I suppose I'm yet to get used to the idea of drones, at least for stills, with video it's obvious.
The clue was in the caption / EXIF info underneath the photo. The first item is the camera used. I was curious and googled FC3170 and sure enough, it was a DJI Mavic.

I've managed quite a few of similar perspective without ever using a drone. None with such beautiful lighting, as my brother licence only covered visual flying & he HAD to be on the ground before there was any chance of visibility dropping.

Just picked up my first set of Graduated NDs for landscape.. I know I know.. You are all laughing at me getting them for the drone first... But honestly the Lee Filter system I would like to be using.. Is a big invest for the few times I'm out Actually shooting landscapes... It'll probably remain in my saved for later @ b&h..
But the drone sees landscapes I'd like to capture quite a bit more often (nearly every flight) ... And the price was right..

Edit: trying hard not to pixel peep these drone images too much. The drop to a half inch sensor is pretty jarring, as excited as I want to be for the mavic 3, it looks like legislation may put a pause on that for everyone.. 😭
