    Dear all,
I have four questions about composition to ask you. I would like to ask you to share your thoughts on some shots, it would be nice if you can include also the reasoning. (All shots are the jpegs created from the body directly, no pp)

    1) A or B? (pick one)
    2) your selection at 1 vs C. (pick one)
    3) D or E (pick one)
    4) A or B or C or D or E (pick one)
    5) your favorite pizza flavor.

I would like to thank you in advance for your replies

    1. B - I don't see much compositional difference but like the exposure better in B. I think B's composition would be a bit better if framed like A.
    2. B - I don't like the post and sign(?) showing in C.
    3. E - tough choice, I don't like the cropping of the tents on the right side of D but also don't like the additional foreground clutter in E.
    4. B - I think it is the stronger image, cleaner (less clutter).
    5. Sausage and mushroom.

From a total novice, so take it for what it's worth.

I vote for B all the way, to me B shows the most details without clutter and is brighter than A

My second choice would be E over D.

    Now the easy one :D
    Cheeses, sausage, mushroom, and onions.

If you cut something off, either cut it off completely or at least enough that it looks like it was intentional, not just a little bit - that looks like it's a mistake. For that reason, I don't like A, B and D. C and E are okay composition wise.

I like B over A as it shows more detail, but I find the light in top right a little distracting as it draws the eye away from the center. I also prefer B over C because even though the lighting is better in C, I don't like the chosen angle of the shot. E is better than D as you have the entire 'canopy' in the shot rather than chopped off in D. Overall I like E for the lighting and the centered main subject.

As for pizza, I like them all :) but especially tuna, cheese and onion.....

    1) I prefer B cause its shows more detail due to the different exposure. However both A and B have a flaw IMHO: that shadow (?) visible on the lower left corner
    2) B, I don't like that C includes the road
    3) I don't see much significant difference THB...
    4) B for all the above

As for pizza, I'm a simple guy - give me a classic margarita with some ham and bacon thrown on :D

    Just two possible answers:

    # B for all questions cause thats the onlyone without unnecessary things seen (signs cut off etc.) and good exposure where details are shown.
    That's a HDR I think??

The Pizza thing is easy too: 4-Cheese

    B. It is the most comfortable. Looks like you could walk right in; nice clear pathway. Inviting and balanced light.
    B. Same reason.
    E. Better top/bottom balance.
    B. Top reason. As in graphic design, step back and ask yourself what you see and how it feels.

I like the open shadows on B better. The sign in C intrigues me, but the light flare on it tips my preference back to B. Like D better than E but I'd pull crop in a bit on the right--it's in no mans land as is.
