    Hi there

I'm new to the world of NEX cameras and i've recently obtained a minolta adaptor that allows me to attached Minolta MD/MC lenses to my NEX-3. Love the 50mm f/1.7 lense ALOT!

Recently I got this lens, the Minolta MC 16mm f/2.8 Rokkor fisheye for R800 (About $80) and i'm enjoying the different fisheye perspective but being a APS-C sensor, the fisheye effect is mostly cropped away.

My question: How effective is a speed booster for fisheye and wide angle lenses? Will it cause a huge loss of quality at the edge of the pic? I want to know if a focal reducer will be the best bet to maximise the effect of this cool fisheye lens, or wide angle in general...

    Thank you :)
