Question about bouncing onboard flash. a6000 and NEX cameras

    So ive been toying with the bounceable flash on the a6000 and my experience , though possibly not the experience of others, is that ceilings over 8 feet make the flash too weak for a even exposure.
    What is your experience and or technique for using the on board flash?

    I've done it, but wouldn't count on it. My old Oly E-PL2 did that, so I'm conscious of trying it, but unless it is a low, smooth white ceiling don't expect too much. It DOES work though.

    Thats about right.

    A diffuser works great when the room is too high.

    I also have the bounce/diffuser cards and although they have seen limited use really are a great addition and make the on board flash usable in many more situations. I rarely get my proper flash out anymore!
