I really like the combination of A6400 with firmware 2.0 Animal Eye-AF and the 70-200mm f/4 G OSS for portraits of my rescue dogs. Although I have been photographing dogs for years with a 70-200mm lens on both Sony as well as Canon full frame and APSC cameras, Animal Eye-AF is completely new to me and is a joy to use. This is especially true when photographing a lively puppy who just cannot sit still. Using AFC and Animal Eye-AF, the camera will follow the pup's closest eye even when the pup is moving around.

With the focal range of the 70-200mm lens, I can get a head shot at 171mm and then zoom back for a full body image at 92mm
