The "Would you please stop taking pictures" mood.
45mm Rokkor and NEX-6
I get that all the time now. My husband and daughter are so sick of me
So I'm not the only one
Not at all!
Or if I tell her to just "act natural" or ignore me, I get this because she knows I'll get upset and walk away. Little stink butt

Definately not. I get that all the time with my older son Andrew and on the other hand his mother always complains "we don't have a family photo since you bought that stupid camera of yours" (its on MF always so others find it a little difficult to operate)
Suzanne, your picture doesn't show up for me. All I see is...
This photo is private.
Oops! You don't have permission to view this photo.
Here's a link back to your home page.
That just goes to show I really have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to putting pictures on forums. I'm lost.
Does this work?
Nope. Just go to the 'share' button, click on the pin icon and choose your resolution and it should work.
Trying one more time before I scream and give up
Nope - still says private. Make sure the photos are set to be seen by anyone, as opposed to just you, or your friends.
Son of a.... I swear I used to be able to do this by just providing the link and have it set as "Friends and Family only" yet. Now there's a whole guest pass thing too that I don't understand.
I've made this picture public now. Although I never make pictures of my daughter public, I will do it for the sake of learning how the heck to link to Flickr now

If the image you want us to see is private...
Under the "You" menu on the home page, click on Organize.
Drag the photo(s) you want to modify to the center box
Click on Permissions, then "Who can see, comment, tag?"
Click on "Anyone (Public)"
If you post it here, it's public anyway.
And you're right, private photos used to work for embedding, never heard of a change of that policy. But you never know what Marissa Mayer thinks ...
Ah yes, that did it.
But yes, my wife won't let me publicly display any picture of her either. And none of my daughter when she was younger.
So I understand the desire to keep them private.
I don't remember the Guest Pass stuff, sorry
Thanks to both for your help and I do apologize to all for taking over this post
As long as you figure it out, all is well.
