Here's my effort from last night. A composite of the First Quarter Moon, Jupiter and Saturn at 1000mm. Their relative positions in the sky.

BTW, how bad did the oil spill last month effect the beaches?

This is my usual hang-out. There's shade, places to sit, and the tree on the
left is filled with Wood Storks, Cormorants, and Iguanas....during the right season.
The right season is not now.
But still, the scenery is nice and you get a feeling
as to what South Florida was really like just 100 years ago.
There were no beaches, just swamps. Water, water, everywhere.
So I still had a good day.

BTW, how bad did the oil spill last month effect the beaches?

I was wondering that myself. I limited myself to not going to the beach at that time because my wife didn't want me breathing any bad air. So far on my visits since then I haven't seen any evidence of clean up crews working so I don't think it was as bad as first made out to be. It may have all traveled south though as that is the prevailing 'tide' as far as the ocean currents go. The water has looked pristine from what I've seen too. No oil sheen seen at all.

Went to a modified Porsche car show this morning. Picture mid-80's to low 90's degree weather with slight breeze to gently waft the palm fronds around and plenty of sun with lots of shiny Porsche's. It was a target rich environment to say the least.
