I lived in Richmond for a while: now I must check out Google Maps and see if I can place this scene. My favourite memories of Richmond, before and while I lived there: the skiffs for hire near the bridge. I used to take a boat out for a whole day and just potter!

If you cut back through the alleyway here it takes you to Richmond High Street. You probably wouldn't recognise it now! Very busy here. Would have been nice to stop by the river for a drink but it was a bit early and we had to drive home so settled for a coffee and a stroll across the Green to look at Richmond Theatre. We live about 40 minutes drive from here.
