I've been on the Terminal Tower's Observation Deck at least 4, and maybe 5, times. It's closed more than it is open.
The visibility today was excellent and better than any of my previous visits. For 5 bucks, it's quite a show.

We have a new yard fountain.

My wife rescued a fountain we'd given to friends of ours who found it just too hard to keep going. So this morning I switched out the blue fountain for the red one. Unlike the picture I posted yesterday, this one was not shot thru the double pane sliding door glass, I opened the door.

I need to find a place to put the blue fountain now as it can't stay where it is. It is running the new-to-us old pump to see if there's really any problem with it.

The cement mix tub is an experiment of sorts to figure out how big a bowl that fountain really needs. It tends to loose a lot of water compared to the other fountains.

No kidding, Will. We're in "extreme" drought conditions up here in southern Oregon, and the nearby lake where I like to sail, which would normally be filled to the rim with snowmelt in June, is currently at 7% capacity. You can stand on the launch ramp and you won't be able to see any water at all, it has receded that far.
