Use the light meter along the bottom of the EVF image. Or let ISO float and let the camera determine exposure, though in that case for such a backlit scene you may need exposure compensation.

I tend to go by what I see, even though it is JPEG on the EVF/LCD. By experience I usually know what to expect. And sometimes I use zebras to help.
