Some days are like that. Or weeks. Hopefully not months. But it is Monday. :drinks:

Can't you just plug the camera into a USB port on the computer? I do that and it seems to work OK, I would imagine much better than going through your phone.

So the old SD card reader on my computer has failed, and the USPS may have lost the replacement in the mail. I'm stuck transferring images from my cameras via phone app. And I bought these too late in the season to enjoy them, and I don't know why the pic is sideways. Life's tragedy.

At one time, when the air was thick with smoke, this was part of the great American Rust Belt. For a glove box camera, the little RX is OK.

This was taken at the local field where the harriers and owls come out to play...apart from developing a serious case of “long-lens-envy”, it is cool to network and see what other guys are using...

The largest remaining wooden trestle bridge in Victoria. It narrowly avoided destruction in last fire seasons bushfires. The last train to cross it was in 1988, more recently the rail line route has been redeveloped into a 100km (60mile) rail trail for walker, cyclist, and equestrian use.

That's what I always do. Have a dedicated wire ready to plug into the camera. It's not fast, but neither is getting the card in/out of an a6nnn-series camera. I use a program which downloads just the new stuff each time.

I did get the wifi transfer working with Linux, a couple of days back. But it transfers just files, not directories, and I maintain the camera directory structure under a year/month tree.

At least they don't call them thongs. Or maybe they do? Landscape composition: Canadians wearing their thongs in the snow. Not suitable for family viewing.

You gotta have big brass balls to try to cycle across that trestle!!
Unfortunately, unlike the river crossings earlier in the trail they didn't see fit to restore the bridge sufficiently to ride, hence the trail alongside.
