Fog on my morning drive for work today. As you would drive down into the valleys it would be a complete whiteout, then clear when you crested the next hill. I ran into this in both directions. On the way up to Petoskey, in addition to the fog and roving gangs of deer it was also dark, which added another fun element. On the way back it was the daylight seen here.
My wife grew up just over the Pennsylvania side of that bridge Kevin. One of the many things she misses here in Australia is the dramatic change in foliage with the seasons. Nearly all our native trees are evergreens. I got a bit inspired by all the Fall pictures being posted though and took this one of the new eucalypt shoots that can be seen on some of the trees, it being Spring here in Oz.

When at home I usually leave the SEL70730G lens on my A6000 for bird photos and an SELP1650 on my old A3000 for snapshots of the garden. This Omurayama Japanese maple was with the latter, set to green auto mode, straight out of camera.
The A3000 is stiil capable of great photos if you can stay within with its limitations.
