'Pancake' zoom for NEX? Panasonic can do it...

    Hi. I'm new here (lured in by the Nex 5N competition).

    I'm looking to dive into the world of 4/3 and am considering the 5N. But also the Panasonic 3GF. Especially with the announcement of the Panasonic X 14-42 lens which gives the camera a really appealing flat profile (details Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH OIS Preview: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review). I'll be interested to see full reviews of that lens.

    Given the appeal of 4/3 to high-end compact users I would think this kind of lens, making 4/3 more pocketable, will be emulated by all major players.

    I think it would still be larger than the mFT equivalent, maybe similar to the Oly collapsable in size. Even at that, it would be smaller than their current kit zoom.
