Our days on end rainy weather sure cuts down on getting out with a camera...

    Stepped out between showers to try a handheld test shot in dark, low light conditions.
    ( My recent Canon FDn 24-35/3.5-L...on an NEX-7, Manual Mode, Cloudy WB, Center Metering, ISO400, 1/200, F3.5 )
    Seemed to do pretty well given the conditions and no tripod

    There is something to be said for waterproof cameras.

    My uncle who is an avid DSLR owner recently took a cruise which included some snorkeling. He decided to forgo hauling his DSLR around and bought a fully waterproof point and shoot.
