Here are a few from the Olympus 50mm F/1.2 on the A7.
Some lens flare may be present as I didn't have a hood :)

A few more of the Olympus OM 55mm F/1.2 taken at night.
1/50s (Auto ISO choosing 6400 or 3200 typically), and aperture wide open at F/1.2.

Looks good Bobby! Is that an OM lens? What's your verdict?

    Hey Armanius,

    Yes, it's the OM Zuiko 50mm F/1.2.
I'm a bit bias towards OM lenses, so I'm going to say it's good :)
It's obviously a bit soft wide open at F/1.2.

Thanks Bobby. I just realized that the title of the thread already says "OM". Duh!! Sorry for the dumb question!

A7 is going to bankrupt me even more, because I want to try out all these different legacy lenses (that I don't have)!

Impressive. I had myself convinced that I did not need the A7 to go with my OM lenses now I am not so sure. Thanks so much!

Looks like a pretty respectable lens.

I'm gonna assume that the A7 is going to magnify the good snd the bad in lenses we have.

Very nice, indeed. I love the mood in these shots, and the little Citroen is pretty cool.

    Hi!

I've just inherited an OM 50mm f1.8 from my Mother (she neglected to mention for the last few years that I have been into photography she had a treasure trove of lenses and other assorted equipment in the attic!!!)

I'm quite excited to have it as at the moment I only have the 16, 18-55 and 55-210 native emounts and have been yearning for a fast 50mm but didn't want to pay for it!!

So, the point of the post, which adapter do you use?

Here's a shot of the lens just in case I have missed something!

Many thanks for the advice in advance!

Just search on eBay for "Olympus OM NEX adapter" and you'll get tons of hits. Try to find a supplier that succeeds in getting the stuff to you within a reasonable time, in my experience that differs greatly. I've had stuff from China/Hongkong delivered to me (Netherlands) within anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months.

Cool - found one in Germany with decent reviews (some reviews of others said focus was a bit off when wide open...?). But either way as its only £9 you can't really go wrong!
Will post the resulting shots when it arrives :)

I didn't want to start a new thread for APS-C sensors, so here is the 50mm 1.2 on an NEX-7

My collection of OM lenses with the A7R

Hi, I am new to this forum.
    Nice to meet you all.
The followings are my tiny collection of OM Zuikos and my newly purchased A7R.
    The 21/2, 50/1.2, 50/1.8, 50/2 Macro, 55/1.2 Silvernose, 35-80mm/2.8 ED, 90/2 Macro and100/2 ED
From my experience, the OM 50s lineup include the 50mm 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 and 2 Macro, plus the 55mm F1.2s (silvernose and blacknose)
I would say among these, the 50mm F2 Macro is the sharpest among all, on par with the OM 90mm F2 Macro and 100mm F2 ED.
While for bokeh, the 55mm 1.2 has fish scale like bokeh, wilder than the later version the 50mm F1.2.
The OM 50mm F1.2 gives richer colors in my eyes when compared to the 55.
