No, I have two OM-NEX adapters and they both stop down my lenses to f/16, I never have to use the DoF button. Looks like your adapter has the wrong positioning for the prong.OK - so the adaptor arrived today - yay!
First questions...
The adaptor has a little prong to push the aperture lever in the lens that an OM camera would normally do before it releases the shutter, as at rest the OM lenses are wide open...
Said prong is positioned so it only stops it down to ~5.6, not all the way to 16. So you have to press the DoF preview button before you release the shutter when shooting f8-16.
The other alternative is if you press the lens release and twist it on beyond the normal place it clicks into place - when I discovered this I was excited, thinking maybe there will be another click further round, but no.
So, anyone else experience this with their OM adaptor? And if so, any reasons why you think the adaptor has this prong in the 'wrong' place and how do you get round it, DoF preview or twist beyond normal click?
Thanks!
