According to the Zeiss blog, the brand name "Carl Zeiss" will be replaced by "ZEISS". So the days of the Carl Zeiss designated Touit lenses are numbered. Quote from the blog:

I'm browsing ebay right now!!! lol :D

    Joking aside, I'm sad I can't afford a Carl Zeiss (or even a ZEISS :D ) lens :(

Ad, what would you say will end up being the most collectible Carl Zeiss lenses?

First, that's only partly correct. The brand continues to be called 'Carl Zeiss', only the lens designation has changed. Second, there are only very few Touits with a 'Carl Zeiss' designation, 99% already have the ZEISS writing.

After all, it saves paint, which saves their money and is good for our environment. Or something like this.

Yep, a Zeiss or Leica or Voightlander are definitely out of my pocket book range.
