Minolta MD Rokkor -X 50mm 1.7

I read several reviews about this lens and personally, I think is not bad as many say, I have an adapter so bought on ebay and I paid only 16 usd.

I used LR to put a bit of saturation and contrast

This is one of my favourite lenses, it's a really good bargain when considering the images the lens can deliver compared to it's price. Everyone will have their own opinion of course, but to me the Rokkors and the Hexars of the past are among the best and most affordable lenses you can use.

Those photos are amazing! (especially the first one!!)

I'm just so fascinated by the many different bokeh characteristics various lenses produce. This Rokkor bokeh reminds me of the Photoshop filter effect called "Facet" - I like it very much.

I agree, for the price with this lens and I think that performance is very good,I love the sharpness and colors it provides.

I recently acquired the MC version of this lens. In my experience, compared to other lenses of the same age, it's a bit softer wide open, but has more "character". I paid €7.50 for it and it certainly is a keeper.

I agree, it's pretty much the reason I use it as my portrait lens, its not too sharp, I find the focal good for portraits and the bokeh is really nice.
