    As I understand it, the Canon FDn 400/4.5 can't officially be classified as an "L" version because among it's several elements are 1 or 2 regular glass...but the majority of them are the "L" low dispersion type glass...it's always turned out excellent images for me that for the world look like "L" IQ

    Lady luck smiled on me for sure...it hopped up on that old stump with a few fallen branches and colored leaves on the ground around it...couldn't have designed it any better.
