    Looks a lot like my Nikon 180 f/2.8 AI-S, only more! ;)

Is there a thread with your 180 f/2.8 somewhere?

There is this one. And this post and this post have a few more examples.

I've been waiting for this chance: I have two weddings scheduled and I have every intention of using this lens. In the meantime, I decided to play around...

Pull out this big gun for a concert a couple weeks ago (wish that mic in the middle wasn't there. I should have moved over a 8 inches):

    Woof! Love them all.

In III, do you know what they store in those tanks, and why they're shaped that way? :hmmm:

    Thanks!
I had to look that up. They're what's left of a building that was just demolished in preparation for a new waterfront park and other developments. The tanks were for steaming wood pulp for making paper.

I'm on a super telephoto kick now. My wife does not like portraits taken, so if I want to do anything outside shooting an event (which happens only maybe twice a year), I need to use myself. I apologize ahead of time. Anyway...I got a new flash for film shooting and thought I'd give it ago with the Nikon.

After all, It's supposed to be a brilliant portrait lens...and it is! These are both at f/4.

Ha! In that first portrait, Mike, you like like someone just told you they could have taken that shot with their iPhone. :laugh1:
