The price difference in the USA at B&H is about a thousand U.S. dollars:crying:

Perhaps it "might" be worth that too a professional sports photographer but, I cannot think of anyone else who might profit from buying the A9ii:doh:

Yep. I think the improvements are good ones but they're not essential ones, to me anyway.
I'd like to see Sony break away from the small form factor for the A9. Almost every action shooter adds a grip anyway, and size and weight are proportionately of less consequence when your lens is 2kg and upwards.

In my opinion the A9ii in particular is aimed at the professional shooter, especially sports/action events, hence things like gigabit ethernet and additional wifi support, full wireless RAW transfers, etc. Also has most of the A7iv improvements.

Amazing technology, would be fun to play with, but not really for the rest of us.
