A couple of sets, photographed in January and today:
Check out my Flickr for the rest!
Nice set! The first one is striking with the color of the light. The third (train yard) looks good in B&W. The opposing direction of the cyclists, right on.
Very nice, the first one is a very nice contrast between the snow falling and the warm light in the underpass.
I like the train yard the best. Well done.
Thanks all! One more from today:
....IS that England?....how would anyone know?...it could be almost anywhere.
Er... the cars are driving on the left side of the road, there's a "Chiltern Railways" sign in one of the photos. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on England.
Sure isn't Libya or Tahiti, anyway.
Or were you being facetious, Bugleone?
1- The Black and Whites make the cold seem colder for some reason.
2- Was it opposite day, the cars are driving on the wrong side of the road??
#1, 3 and 5 are my favourites
.......Most definately I was not being facetious.....
Theres much more to England than merely driving on the "wrong side" and having "wonderful policemen" in "funny hats"........
I should know, I live there....(and strangely enough, I'm actually English!)
....If you want to show Englands "mean streets" ( and by god it's got some!) why show bits that have already been made negative, bland and foreign....??
Just working with the subjects I'm given...
