The lens is really cheap, I've bought it on ebay with C-mount to Nex adapter,
building quality is not that much and on the camera it looks quite weird :) ('cause it's really small)
anyway is pretty fun to use.

The lens mainly focuses in the center and produces a swirly bokeh all around, these are some samples:

Can't tell for sure from the samples, but looks like there might be some slight vignetting going on? See the shot of the brick wall and lamp post

It certainly looks like fun. Great shots, I like the Rose photo the most. :) Thanks for sharing.

I think most C-mount adapted lenses will have border vignetting to some degree because the 'lens flange to sensor' distance is quite close, and the majority of C-mount lenses were designed for a smaller sensor area than the APS-C NEX sensor. I think they don't vignette on the smaller four-thirds sensors.

I still love the characteristic though (the vignetting and sharp centre and blurred edges)... it's creates a "romantic" capture for dreamy portraits. :) I've been curious enough to want to try it because many of these CC-TV lenses have very fast apertures. I already have a C-mount adapter, but I'm still trying to win a lens at the auctions :/

would be fun to do a shoot with this lens, but it seems that it looks a little blurry, or are my eyes that feel tired lol

:D Nothing wrong with your eyes freddytto... the edges are indeed blurry, but that's its characteristic. In the old film SLR days, we used to cut clear acetate film and smear the edges with super glue and then further out with black marker pen - then place it in front of a portrait lens to get this effect. :)

Thanks for comments!
Yes the lens is difficult to focus, vignette a little and has a strange bokeh effect.. but this is the funny part ;)

I guess that in the lamp pic the lens looks like vignetting more because the light is only in the center.

Hi I am replying here back after some time as I wanted to ask you if there are some more samples from this lens. It looked a bit fun and I wanted to know how this or others funny lenses perform.

Regards
Alex
