For those that have used an NEX for a while do you feel like the camera becomes unbalanced with longer lenses ?

Since I almost always use my Nikon glass with the C3, it would be silly to support the rig with the camera. That being said, holding the lens in my left hand it's perfectly balanced...the camera adds practically no weight to the lens at all!;)

    lol @ BruPri

I guess you can't have compactness and great balance with long/heavier lenses after all....

You have to modify your 'technique' somewhat but, essentially, it's no different shooting long lenses with NEX than with a DSLR......

For non tripod shots I prefer to sit on the ground with one knee raised and rest the left hand holding th lens on that knee.

    This with Tokina 100 to 300 @ 300,...I also use Canon 70 to 210 f4
